岩永源内
ニューパーク音楽大学 (Newpark Music Centre) 卒
甲陽音楽学院、ギター科/研究科卒

1990年9月生まれ 神奈川出身、音楽プロデューサーの父をもつ。 3歳からピアノを習い始める。
14歳頃に日本のロックバンドの影響を受け、ギターを始める。
2006年の Red Hot Chili Peppers 東京ドーム公演で衝撃を受け、 海外の音楽やバンドに目を向けるようになる。
2010年 留学を志し甲陽音楽学院に入学、ジャズギターや音楽理論、アレンジ等を学ぶ。
ジャズインプロを谷口知巳氏(バークリー音楽大学卒)に師事。
エレキギターを和田清茂氏に師事。クラシックギターを中川誠氏に師事。
同校在学中にニューパーク音楽大学のオーディションに合格し奨学金を得る。
2012年 甲陽音楽学院を卒業後、2013年8月にアイルランドに渡る。
ニューパーク音楽大学の2年次より編入、アンサンブルやリズムトレーニング、 演奏研究や教育学など、より専門的にジャズを学ぶ。
ジャズギターをダブリンを中心に活動するジャズギタリスト、Tommy Halferty氏に師事。
2016年6月に同校を卒業、ジャズパフォーマンスの音楽学士号(Bachelor of Arts in Jazz Performance)を取得。

また留学中に演奏活動行う
2014年9月、Wexford Art Centre で行われたイベントにソロで出演。
毎年4月にダブリンのフェニックスパークで行われる大型イベント、Experience Japan Festivalにおいて2015年、2016年、日本人ジャズミュージシャンの招待枠にバンド出演。
2015年5月14日、バンドメンバーとしてダブリン ナショナルコンサートホールで演奏。
2016年6月10日、バンドリーダーとしてダンレアリー dIr LexIcon で演奏。
現在、関東を中心に演奏活動や講師活動を行っている。

Gennai Iwanaga
Gennai was born in Knagawa Japan, September in 1990.
His father is a music producer.
He started to learn the piano when he was 3 years old.
Influence by Japanese rock bands, he stated playing the guitar when he was 14 years old.
In 2006, Red hot chili peppers performed in Tokyo dome, It inspired him to take interest in international music and bands.
He decided to study abroad. In 2010 he was studying music at the Koyo conservatory of music where he took a varied range of subjects such as music theory and arranging.
He was also tutored on electric guitar by Kiyoshige Wada, classical guitar by Makoto Nakagawa and jazz improvisation by the brass player Tomomi Taniguchi (graduate of Berklee college of music).
He passed an audition for Newpark music centre.
After graduating, he entered Newpark music centre in Dublin, Ireland in September 2013.
He was tutored on jazz guitar by Tommy Halferty. June 2016, He graduated this school and got a Bachelor of Arts in Jazz Performance.
